Learning German has always been a struggle for me, especially as a professional living in a German-speaking country, but working in an English-speaking environment.  After attending a few group classes and not seeing significant results or attention from my tutors, I decided to take a private course with Caroline. Caroline was exactly what I was looking for! She paid attention to my needs and focused on the areas that I was the weakest. We focused a lot on speaking, working on everyday scenarios, which helped me be much more confident with my German skills in simple everyday settings and situations. She managed to make grammar simple and easy to understand which improved my written German tremendously. Caroline was also very easy going and communicative which made the experience very relaxed and uncomplicated.

I like learning languages but this one proved to be the hardest ever (…). Nevertheless, I am very pleased with my teacher Caroline. She really tried to help me and I felt responsible not only to succeed FOR myself but also to prove to her that her methods work. She has a sixth sense that she cleverly uses when she “feels” that I’m slacking, hence she makes me be better. She “humanized” herself in front of a virtual and remote audience in order to “include” us foreigners to her beautiful and peaceful country and that IS PRICELESS!

Caroline volunteered her professional teaching and academic skills for our programme and I have got to know her as a driven, organised person who develops inspiring relationships with her students. She is a talented and highly qualified teacher who takes time to plan, reach students from diverse and multicultural backgrounds, and train students to be independent and collaborative learners.

Ich habe es wirklich genossen, Deutsch online zu lernen (…). Viele Leute sagen, dass Online-Kurse niemals so effektiv sein werden wie Präsenzkurse. Dazu muss ich sagen, dass ich in diesem Online-Kurs mehr gelernt habe als in meinem zweijährigen IB-Deutschstudium, welches im Präsenzmodus abgehalten wurde. Es geht nicht um die Studienform, sondern um die Kompetenz der Lehrenden. Ein guter Lehrer kann seine Schüler in jeder Form unterrichten. Ich muss sagen, das hat sich in diesem Kurs gezeigt.
